A candidate shall hold a Bachelor’s degree of any University incorporated by an Act of the
Parliament or State Legislature in India or other educational institution established by an
Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the
University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification
recognized by Government

a State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section - 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956

Possess the basic knowledge of Computer Application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Service Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967.

Exam Outline: The competitive examination will be held in two phases in sequence

  • Preliminary Examination (objective type): To select candidates for the main examination and (b) Main examination (written and face to face interview).
To select candidates for final selection for fixed posts.

The final selection of candidates will be based on the marks obtained in the main examination (marks obtained in the main written examination + marks obtained in face to face interview).
