Business Economics or Econometrics or Mathematics or Applied Mathematics or Advance Statistics as principal subject from any of the universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognised as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956

(i) have about five years’ experience on the post not below the rank of Research Assistant, Class III, in the Subordinate Services of the Directorate of Economics and Statistics, or
(ii) have about five years’ experience in the field of carrying collection, compilation, analysis and interpretation of statistical data or conducting and organizing large scale sample surveys, research studies in any of the field of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Forestry, Fisheries, Applied Economics,
Labour, Industries, Education, Health, Medicine, Demography or Sociology involving use of modern statistical methods in the Government or in the Government undertaking Board or Corporation or in Local Bodies or University or Banking Organization on the post which can be considered equivalent to the post of Research Assistant, Class III, in the Subordinate Services of the Directorate of Economics and Statistics; or
(iii) have about five years’ experience in the field of carrying collection, compilation,
