AGE: - Not more than 40 years.
(1) Age will be calculated on the last date of the receipt of application.
(2) Upper Age limit shall be relaxed to candidate as under
GPSC Assistant Research Officer Educational Qualification and Experience:
A Master degree in Engineering (Civil) or Technology (Civil) or Geo-physics or geology obtained from any of the universities established or incorporated by or beneath the Central or a State Act in India; or the other establishment recognized as such or declared to be deemed as a University beneath section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess a similar qualification recognized by the Government; and
(i) have regarding 3 years’ combined or separate research expertise within the field of Water Resources or Irrigation or Roads and Building on the post not below the rank of Junior Scientific Assistant category III, within the subordinate services, beneath the Narmada, Water Resources, water supply and Kalpasar Department; or
(ii) have regarding 3 years’ combined or separate research experience within the field of Water Resources or Irrigation or Roads and Building within the Government or native Bodies or Government beneath taking Board or corporation or limited company established beneath the Companies Act, 2013 on the post not below the rank of Junior Scientific Assistant, Class III,

(2) Possess the basic information of computer application as prescribed within the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and recruitment (General) Rules, 1967;
(3) Possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
