Gramin Dak Sevak Essential/ Desirable Qualification & Syllabus:
For any approved categories of Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS), having passed in Mathematics and English in their Secondary School Examination is an obligatory educational requirement. The exam should have been undertaken from any recognized Board of School Education, authorized by either the Indian Government, State Governments, or Union Territories.
The prospective candidate is expected to have an understanding of the indigenous dialect, specifically (Name). Mastery of the local language is mandatory or optional for secondary education.

Based on a system-generated merit list, the recruitment process will comprise shortlisting the candidates for engagement. The ranking will be determined based on the marks attained.
To determine the percentage score for the Secondary School Examination of 10th standard in approved boards, it is necessary to convert the grades or points into marks, as outlined in sub-paras iii to ix.
