ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS FOR HC ASSISTANT :
(As on 14/07/2018, i.e. Last Date for submitting the online Application)
(a) bachelor's degree obtained from any of the universities or establishments established or incorporated by or underneath the Central or State Act in India; or any other establishment recognized intrinsically or declared as deemed University under Section three of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess the same qualification recognized by the govt.
(b) writing Speed of 5000 Key depression on computer in English and/or Gujarati.
(c) Basic knowledge of operation computer operation as per Government Resolution No.CRR-10-2007-120320-G.5 dated 13/08/2008.
(d) decent knowledge of English, Gujarati and Hindi.
- AGE LIMIT :

- FEES AND MODE OF PAYMENT :

(A) Elimination Test (Objective Type – MCQs) (100 Marks-2 Hours) :
(1) Question Paper of Elimination Test should comprise of 100 Multiple Choice Question (MCQs), every one of 1 Mark. For each wrong/various answer, there should be Negative Marking of 0.33 Marks. Dialect of the Question Paper should be English aside from Questions in Gujarati. Span of the End Test should be 2 Hours.
(2) Syllabus of Elimination Test :
(i) English Language
(ii) Gujarati Language
(iii) General Knowledge
(iv) Arithmetic
(v) Current Affairs
(vi) Indian History and Geography
(vii) Basics of Computer Applications
(viii) Sports
(ix) Analytical Reasoning
(x) Mental Ability etc.
(3) Hopefuls having a place with the Reserved Categories, i.e. SC, ST, SEBC and Distinctively Abled Persons [PH - just Orthopaedically disabled], might need to anchor least 55% Marks and the various Candidates might need to anchor least 60% Marks in the Elimination Test and as it were those qualifying, should be required the Main Written Examination (Expressive Type).
(B) Main Written Examination (Descriptive Type)(60 Marks - a hour and a half) :
(1) The Candidates who qualify in the Elimination Test (Objective TypeMCQs) should show up in the Main Written Examination
(Expressive Type) of 60 Marks (Duration : a hour and a half). Dialect of the Question Paper should be English. Answers to Questions might be given in English, if not educated something else. Which would be led at Ahmedabad or at whatever other place(s) that might be chosen by the High Court.
(2) Syllabus of Main Written Examination (Descriptive Type):
(I) English Language
(ii) Gujarati Language
(iii) General Knowledge
(iv) Basic Knowledge of Computer – Spreadsheet and Word Processing
(3) Candidates having a place with the Reserved Categories, i.e. SC, ST, SEBC and Distinctively Abled Persons [PH - just Orthopaedically disabled], should need to anchor least 45% Marks and the various Candidates might need to anchor least half Marks in the Main Written Examination (Spellbinding Type), with a specific end goal to fit the bill for next phase of the Recruitment Process.
(C) Practical/Skill Test (Typing Test) (40 Marks - 10 Minutes) :
(1) The Candidates who qualify in the Main Written Examination (Descriptive Sort) should show up in the Typing Test of 40 Marks (Duration : 10 Minutes) on Computer (English as well as Gujarati all things considered), at Ahmedabad or at whatever other place(s) that might be chosen by the High Court.
(2) A Candidate might need to anchor least 40% Marks in the Practical/ Expertise Test (Typing Test), keeping in mind the end goal to fit the bill for next phase of the Enlistment Process.
