GPSC Child Marriage Officer Essential/Desirable Qualification & Syllabus:
(1) To be eligible for a certain position, you need to have a post-Graduate degree in Social Work, Sociology, or Psychology from a University that is recognized under the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or any other educational institution that is considered equivalent to a University.
To be considered for this position, applicants must possess a minimum of three years of experience working as a Probation Officer or an equivalent post of Class-III in the subordinate service of the Directorate of Social Defence, Gujarat state.
To be eligible for a specific position in the Directorate of Social Defence in Gujarat, candidates should possess at least three years of experience in social work or social administration in various government bodies or registered Non-governmental organizations. The required experience should be in a position not lower than that of a Probation Officer or an equivalent post in the Class-III of the subordinate service.
(2) Possess the basic knowledge of Computer Application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Service Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967.
(3) Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
