Fees Laboratory Technician Recruitment Application : When the candidates submit their application on the OJAS website, the examination fee for the general category candidates for class-II post is Rs. 500 (Female candidate, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Socially and Educationally Backward Class, Economically Weaker Class, Ex-Servicemen, Candidates with Physical Deformity will have to pay 50% of the examination fee.) and for Class-III Posts Rs. 300 (For female candidates, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Socially and Educationally Backward Classes, Economically Weak Sections, Ex-Servicemen, Candidates with Physical Disabilities, 50% of the examination fee will have to be paid online.)
Minimum Age : Must have completed 18 years on the last date of Advertisement.
Maximum Age : Must not have completed Above 36 years on the last date of Advertisement Age will be calculated on the last date of the receipt of the application.
GMC Laboratory Technician Essential/ Desirable Qualification & Syllabus:
Instructive GMC Laboratory Technician Qualification :
(1) Possessing a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or Microbiology or Biochemistry from any University established or established in India by or under a Central or State Act or from any other educational institution recognized as such or declared as a Deemed University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 should be Or
(2) Laboratory Technician or Medical Laboratory Technician Course from any University established or constituted in India by or under a Central or State Act or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared as a Deemed University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or Should possess Diploma in Medical Technology or Post Graduate Diploma in Medical
Laboratory Technology or one year Medical Laboratory Technician Training Course or Laboratory Technician Course.
Certificate of Basic Computer Knowledge as prescribed in Gujarat Civil Service Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967
